Meet our Managing Director and vocal coach - Candice Frith Loh
Candice Loh is one of Australia’s leading professionals in vocal pedagogy and choir conducting. Throughout the years, Candice has coached and directed choirs as well as taught singing at schools, performing arts academies and privately. Candice has a current WWCC and QLD Blue card.
Candice studied at The University of Sydney’s, Conservatorium of Music and completed:
Master of Music Studies (Vocal Pedagogy)
Post-Graduate Diploma of Music
Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Public Relations).
Candice's academic background also includes her graduating from the London University Advanced Levels and London University Ordinary Levels.
Candice's education and experience in the Performing Arts industry, started with her studying Acting and Stage at The Actor’s Studio (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) under the tutorage of Joe Hasham (Number 96 series). Candice went on to feature in Theatre productions, TVC's and radio work that led to her singing the televised, Malaysian National Anthem for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
Today, Candice has over 23 years of experience in teaching voice, along with her stage experience as a professional performer and conductor.
Most recently Candice conducted a 350 piece choir for the P&O Cruises advertisement.
Currently, Candice is the Musical Director of Sing Up The Pub (a pop-up choir) and The Rock’n Soul Choir (Australia’s Got Talent, semi-finalist act).
Candice, her students and choirs have worked alongside and supported celebrity acts like; Jessica Mauboy, Fitzy and Whippa, John Williamson, Paulini (Australian Idol), Cosima Devito (Australian Idol), Hamish and Andy, The Celtic Tenors etc.
Candice is available to teach all levels of vocal training, from beginners to tertiary level training for other singing and music teachers.
