Meet Candice Frith Loh, our Founding Director, Music Director, and MVT Vocal Coach.

 

Candice is currently a registered member of ANATS (The Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing) and has previously served on its board. 

Candice is one of Australia’s leading professionals in vocal pedagogy and choir conducting, with over 25 years of experience in teaching singing, along with her stage experience as a professional performer and qualified conductor.
 

Candice studied at The University of Sydney’s, Conservatorium of Music and completed:

Master of Music Studies (Vocal Pedagogy)

Post-Graduate Diploma of Music

Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Public Relations).

Candice is currently studying a Master of Speech Pathology to further her expertise in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of speech and voice disorders. Her academic background also includes her graduating from the London University Advanced Levels and London University Ordinary Levels.

Throughout the years, Candice has taught singing at various NSW and QLD schools, performing arts academies and Directed the Optus Campus Choir as well as other choirs for P&O Cruises, 3M and the Dillwynia Correctional Centre. 

Candice is now the Director of My Vocal Training, The Rock'n Soul Choir (Previous Australia's Got Talent semi-finalists), Sing Up the Pub and was featured conducting a 350 piece choir for a recently televised, P&O Cruises advertisement. 

Candice has a current WWCC and QLD Blue card.

Candice's education and experience in the Performing Arts industry, started with her studying Acting and Stage at The Actor’s Studio (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) under the tutorage of Joe Hasham (Number 96 series). Candice went on to feature in Theatre productions, TVC's and radio work that led to her singing the televised, Malaysian National Anthem for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.​

Candice, her students and choirs have worked alongside and supported celebrity acts like; Jessica Mauboy, Fitzy and Whippa, John Williamson, Paulini (Australian Idol), Cosima Devito (Australian Idol), Hamish and Andy, The Celtic Tenors etc.

Candice is available to teach all levels of vocal training, from beginners to tertiary level training for other singing and music teachers.
